Update Your Aadhaar Card Address Without any Address Proof
UIDAI providing the facility to change your address on the Aadhaar card, even if you do not have proof of your current address. You will have to apply for an address validation letter with the organization. After completing this formality, a letter will be sent at your new address which will bear a secret code. You can use that code to change your address on the Aadhaar card.
With the address validation facility, you can update the address of your family members, relatives, landlord or a friend.
Steps to Update Aadhaar Card Address
- Visit the UIDAI website first.
- Click on the update address tab.
- Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number and OTP received by your registered mobile number.
- Then click on the address option.
- Enter your new address and submit it.
- Finally, click on the ‘Declaration’ option.
Your address on the Aadhaar card will be updated after completing this process. You can get your updated Aadhaar card by visiting nearby Aadhaar center.
